Beyond the Bible Lesson: Helping Kids Experience the Story
How do we help children do more than simply listen to a Bible story? How can we spark their curiosity, encourage participation, and help the truths of Scripture stay with them long after the lesson ends?
In this practical, interactive workshop, we’ll explore how wonder, mystery, storytelling, and creative challenges can transform familiar Bible lessons into memorable experiences. Discover how simple elements like clues, artifacts, unexpected discoveries, and hands-on activities can spark curiosity, build anticipation, and draw children deeper into the story.
Through practical examples and a hands-on exercise, participants will learn how to take familiar Bible lessons and reimagine the way they’re presented, creating opportunities for children to investigate, discover, and connect more deeply with Scripture.
Audience: Children’s ministry volunteers, Sunday school teachers, and ministry leaders of all experience levels.
