What is TCMC?

The Toronto Children’s Ministry Conference (TCMC) is an annual conference on the first Saturday of November designed to inspire, equip, and connect leaders, parents, and volunteers who are passionate about nurturing children’s faith. It features a keynote speaker, practical workshops, creative resources, and opportunities to build community.

Who should come?

Anyone involved in ministry with children and families—whether you’re a pastor, Sunday school teacher, parent, youth leader, early childhood educator, or denominational leader. If you care about kids and faith, this day is for you.

What is TCMC’s theological and ministry focus?

TCMC is an ecumenical conference that welcomes all Christian churches committed to Gospel-centered discipleship of children. Our content is shaped by the Canadian context—we prioritize Canadian speakers, with over 90% of our teaching led by leaders actively serving in Canadian churches and ministries. We intentionally invite speakers who are doing real ministry in a diversity of settings—from small congregations to large urban churches, from denominational leadership to frontline community work—so that every attendee can find inspiration that fits their reality.

I can’t attend in person. Is there an online option?

Yes! A virtual registration option is available and includes access to livestreamed sessions and post-event pre-recorded content from a selection of workshop presenters.

Registration

Do I have to know all the names of my group at the time of registration?

No, you can register your group and submit names later. We’ll send you a reminder before the conference to finalize your attendees.

Can I add more people to my group after I have registered?

Absolutely. Additional group members can be added at any time—just contact us at torontochildrenministryc@gmail.com and we’ll help you update your registration.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made before the close of registration will receive a full refund minus a small admin fee. No refunds will be issued after registration closes but registrations can be transferred to another attendee or switched to a virtual attendance at no cost.

Workshops & Sessions

Do I choose my workshops ahead of time?

Some workshops may require pre-selection due to space limits. Others are first-come, first-served. You’ll receive an email closer to the event with instructions.

Will sessions be recorded or available after the event?

Select sessions have pre-recorded content and made available in the digital package to attendees for a limited time.

Logistics

Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available on-site.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. The venue is wheelchair-accessible with ramps, elevators, and accessible washrooms.

Are meals provided?

Yes. Your registration includes lunch as well as coffee/tea and snacks throughout the day. Please let us know of any dietary needs during registration.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing a notebook or journal, a reusable water bottle, and a heart ready to grow and be inspired!

Children & Youth

Can I bring my children?

Yes! We love kids and we are pleased to offer free childcare for registered participants. Space is limited so be sure to register early.

I have teen volunteers. Is this conference good for them?

Yes! Teen volunteers will find the workshops engaging and empowering. It’s a great way to invest in the next generation of leaders.
