Soul Care Experiences
Tend Your Roots!
This year, as we explore what it means to be Rooted in Jesus, we want to make space not only to learn about nurturing deep roots in children, but to tend to our own. Ministry can be full, demanding, and meaningful. Those who care for others need space to be cared for too. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll have opportunities to slow down, be still, and reconnect with Jesus through gentle, contemplative practices. Choose from two small-group Soul Care experiences, each limited to 15 participants, or sign up for a one on one conversation with one of our spiritual directors. Come as you are. There is nothing to accomplish, just space to be with Jesus and allow Him to nourish your soul.
Soul Care Small Group Experiences
Come and join us for a gentle moment of care for your own soul. In the midst of a full and meaningful conference, this is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and create space to reconnect with God and your own heart. Together, we’ll simply be with Jesus, allowing Him to meet us exactly where we are—to nourish, refresh, and care for our souls. Whether you’re feeling full or weary, joyful or stretched, this is a space to rest in His presence and receive His loving care.

Contemplative Reading of Scripture
Join us for a Contemplative Reading of Scripture. Often when we read, we read to gain information. A contemplative reading of Scripture is different in that we are not reading to necessarily gain more information, but to encounter God through His Holy Word. It is about engaging the heart. Together we will read Scripture slower and multiple times, so we can sit with the text and savour it with times of silence in between.

Art Contemplation
Together we will be using a piece of Art as a way to connect with God- to encounter the Creator through the beauty of what has been created. The book of Romans tells us, “Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities- His eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that we are without excuse.” Join us as we explore how God speaks to us through His Word and the beauty of what has been created.

Soul Care Spiritual Direction Experiences
Come and receive a little space to slow down and listen for God’s presence in the midst of a busy conference. In a one-on-one conversation with a trained spiritual director, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on what is happening in your life and faith, notice where God may be meeting you, and simply be present with Jesus. There is no agenda, problem to solve, or right thing to say. Whether you’re carrying something heavy, celebrating something good, feeling spiritually dry, or simply longing for a moment to pause, this is a space to come as you are and be gently accompanied. Come without needing to accomplish anything. Just bring yourself, and make room to listen, notice, and receive.
