Biography

As an Registered Early Childhood Educator by profession, I have been working with children and youth since I was a teenager! I am a passionate advocate that play is the vehicle through which young children learn and make sense of the world around them. My ministry of Biblical play and games began as an offshoot of my personal devotions when I was young – reading the Bible, writing what I read and using games and trivia to review and remember what I read and understood. Over the years, my roles of Sunday School teacher, Children’s Church coordinator, Director of Children’s Ministry, Summer Camp supervisor and Sunday School administrator has evolved my use of play and games from a teaching strategy to a ministry.
