Biography
Sheri Rough was first introduced to the value of teaching the Bible chronologically while studying at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Five years ago, she began incorporating “Walk Thru the Bible” into her teaching, finding it to be a powerful and engaging tool. She especially loves how it helps children (and adults) gain a fun, creative, and memorable overview of the Bible—laying the groundwork for deeper chronological study. Sheri longs to see children seek after God, developing a strong foundation of biblical knowledge and a lasting love for Him. She currently serves as the Children’s Pastor at First Alliance Church in Scarborough, ON, and as an extrovert, she loves, loves, loves being with people. She was recently “fired” from her role as a homeschooling mom when she and her husband celebrated their children’s next big adventure, university. “Walk Thru the Bible” with God’s One Big Redemptive story
Let’s be honest, it takes a long time to teach the whole Bible to anyone, let alone children. “Walk Thru the Bible” is a great tool to provide the structure of the Bible for children who can then add more of the details as you then slowly dig into the details of Scripture. It’s an engaging tool that includes memorable hand signs and phrases for each of the key events in the Bible which then help children understand God’s one big redemptive story.
