Workshop

Jesus-Centred vs. Morality-Centred Teaching to Kids

This session explores what it looks like to continually teach about Jesus and point our kids to him, allowing morals to be a by-product of that experience. This is in contrast to a great deal of children’s teaching that emphasizes morals out of a biblical story – sometimes stretching a moral to make it fit. Jesus-centred teaching points our kids to what is the most important. And, we know, morals aren’t transformative. Only Jesus is.
